Terms of Service
1. Agreement to These Terms
Pipe Posts is provided by Numbat Web (ABN 80 697 984 048) ("we", "us"). These Terms of Service govern your use of it. "You" means the business that subscribes to Pipe Posts, and everyone who signs in under that subscription.
By creating a Pipe Posts account, subscribing to Pipe Posts, signing in to it, or connecting a social account to it, you agree to these Terms. When you create an account yourself we ask you to agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, and we record which version you agreed to and when. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Where you have signed a separate written agreement with Numbat Web that covers Pipe Posts, that agreement prevails over these Terms to the extent they conflict.
2. What the Service Does
Pipe Posts lets you write a post once and publish it to the social accounts you have connected. It reformats what you write into the version each platform requires — trimming captions to each platform's limits, cropping and re-encoding images and video — schedules delivery, and reports the outcome of each one.
Publishing happens through the connected platforms' own interfaces (their APIs). Which platforms are available may change as those platforms change their own rules and interfaces.
3. Accounts and Access
Pipe Posts is self serve: you create your account yourself, by signing up at pipe-posts.com, and connect your own social accounts. Numbat Web offers help with setting up where you need it. The person who creates an account must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the business, and the information given must be true and kept up to date.
You sign in with a link we email to you, or with a Google or Facebook account you have linked to your Pipe Posts account. You may also turn on two step sign in. A business that created its own account can post once the email address of its owner has been confirmed.
You are responsible for keeping your ways of signing in secure (your email inbox and any linked Google or Facebook account), for the actions of everyone who signs in under your business, and for telling us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised. A business's owner may invite other people to it and remove them.
You must not share access with anyone outside your business, or use the service on behalf of another business, without our written agreement.
4. Free Trial
A business that creates its own account starts with a free trial of 7 days. During the trial every feature is available, with a limit of 5 posts a day. We do not ask for payment details to start a trial, and nothing is charged when it ends.
When the trial ends, the business is paused unless you have subscribed: you can still sign in and see your drafts, posts and connected accounts, but nothing is published until you subscribe. You can subscribe at any time from Your business (section 5). We email the owner before the trial ends.
If a business stays paused for 90 days after its trial, we delete it and its data as described in our Privacy Policy. We email the owner at least 30 days before we do, and you can download your posts or subscribe until then.
One free trial is available per business. Creating more accounts or businesses to obtain further trials, or to get around a limit, is not permitted (see section 10).
5. Subscription and Fees
- Pipe Posts costs a flat A$9 a month, or A$90 a year. The price includes GST and payment processing fees: there is nothing more to pay.
- Outside Australia, checkout may show and charge the price in your own currency: either a price we set in that currency, shown on our website before you subscribe, or the Australian price converted by Stripe at the time, where the rate you are shown may include a conversion fee of a few percent. You can choose to pay in Australian dollars instead, which avoids Stripe's conversion fee (your bank's own fees may apply). Your subscription keeps the currency you first paid in.
- You choose monthly or yearly when you subscribe, from Your business. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it.
- On the web, payment is taken by card through Stripe. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe and are never stored by Numbat Web. Where Pipe Posts is offered in the Apple App Store or Google Play and you subscribe there, Apple or Google bills you and their terms for billing, renewal and refunds apply to that purchase.
- If a payment fails, we tell you and try again. If it still cannot be taken, the business is paused (as at the end of a trial) until payment is made. Nothing is deleted while it is paused, except as set out in section 4.
- We may change the price by giving you at least 30 days notice by email. A change takes effect at your next billing period, and you may cancel before it does.
- Where you have a separate written agreement with Numbat Web (section 1), the fees and billing in that agreement apply instead.
6. Term, Cancellation, Refunds and Closing Your Account
Unless a separate written agreement with Numbat Web states a fixed term, the subscription continues from period to period until cancelled.
- You may cancel at any time: from Your business if you subscribed yourself, from the App Store or Google Play if you subscribed there, or by writing to us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and the service runs until then.
- For a yearly subscription, we email you at least 7 days before it renews.
- Part periods are not refunded, except where the Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise.
- Any other refund is assessed case by case, in good faith.
- We may cancel a subscription by giving you 30 days written notice, and will refund the unused portion of any period already paid.
Closing your account. You can delete your Pipe Posts account yourself at any time, from Your account, or start at pipe-posts.com/delete-account. It happens 7 days after you confirm, and we email you a link to cancel it until then. If you are the only owner of your business, the business and its data are deleted with your account; otherwise only your own account is. Cancelling a subscription does not close the account, and closing an account ends any subscription.
Export what you need before you cancel or close. An owner can download the business's posts from Your account at any time. After a subscription ends or an account is closed we delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy, and credential deletion is irreversible by design.
7. Your Content
You own everything you put into Pipe Posts — your text, images, video and the accounts you connect. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of it to us.
You grant Numbat Web a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, reformat, transmit and publish that content solely in order to provide the service you have asked for, and to the accounts you have connected. That licence ends when the content is deleted or your subscription ends, whichever is sooner. We do not use your content for any other purpose, including advertising or training artificial intelligence models.
You warrant that you hold the rights to everything you publish through Pipe Posts, including images, video, music, trade marks and any depiction of a person, and that publishing it does not infringe anyone else's rights or breach any law.
Content that has not yet been published is treated as confidential (see section 13).
8. Connected Platforms
Pipe Posts publishes to platforms operated by other companies — Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google (YouTube), TikTok, LinkedIn, the Mastodon servers you connect, and others you may connect. Your use of each of those platforms is governed by that platform's own terms and policies, not by these Terms. You are responsible for complying with them.
YouTube. Pipe Posts uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. How we handle YouTube data is set out in our Privacy Policy, and Google's in the Google Privacy Policy.
TikTok. When you post to TikTok, TikTok's Terms of Service and Music Usage Confirmation apply, and, for branded content, its Branded Content Policy. You choose who can see each TikTok post; Pipe Posts never chooses for you.
Platform names and logos. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest and Mastodon, and their logos, are trademarks of their owners. Pipe Posts shows a platform's name or logo only to tell you where a post goes, as each platform's brand rules allow. Pipe Posts is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them.
We do not control those platforms and are not responsible for their decisions. That includes a platform removing your post, limiting how many people see it, rate-limiting or suspending your account, changing or withdrawing its publishing interface, or going offline.
Access to a Facebook Page or Instagram account lasts about 60 days at a time. Pipe Posts renews it for you automatically while Meta allows. When it cannot, the account is marked Expiring on your Connections page and we email you at least 10 days before the access runs out. Reconnecting takes a minute, and only you can do it: until you do, nothing is published to that account. Other platforms' access lasts as long as each platform allows, and Connections shows the state of every account you have connected.
9. Publishing Is Not Guaranteed
We make reasonable efforts to publish every post you schedule, and to report honestly what happened. We do not guarantee that any particular post will be published, or published at a particular time. Publishing depends on services we do not control, and a post can fail or be delayed because a platform is down, has changed its rules, has rate-limited your account, has rejected the content, or because an access token has expired.
Where a post reaches some connected accounts and not others, that is a normal and expected outcome. Pipe Posts shows it plainly, per channel, so you can retry or publish manually. Retrying is your decision.
Scheduling is best-effort: a scheduled post is published as soon as practicable after its scheduled time, not to the second.
10. Acceptable Use
You must not use Pipe Posts to publish or do anything that:
- is unlawful, defamatory, deceptive, harassing, or infringes anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
- breaches the policies of a platform you are publishing to;
- constitutes spam, or bulk unsolicited or automated posting designed to game a platform;
- attempts to circumvent a platform's rate limits, review processes or terms;
- interferes with the security or operation of the service, or attempts to access another subscriber's data;
- resells, sublicenses or provides the service to a third party without our written agreement;
- creates accounts or businesses automatically, or more than one to obtain further free trials or to get around a limit.
We may suspend or terminate access immediately, without notice, where we reasonably believe this section has been breached or where continuing would put our own platform access at risk. Where we do, we will tell you why.
11. Availability and Support
We aim to keep Pipe Posts available and working, and provide support by email during Australian business hours. We do not offer a guaranteed uptime or response time unless one is stated in a separate written agreement with Numbat Web.
The service may be unavailable during maintenance or an upgrade. We will give notice of planned work that we expect to be disruptive, where practicable.
12. Data and Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Deletion of your data, including credentials for connected accounts, is described on our Data Deletion page.
You may ask us for a copy of your content at any time while your subscription is active, and we will provide it in a reasonable format within a reasonable time.
13. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information disclosed in the course of the subscription, and not to disclose it without prior written consent. This obligation survives termination.
All content held in Pipe Posts that has not yet been published is treated as confidential — an unpublished campaign is exactly the kind of thing that must not leak. We will not disclose it to anyone other than the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy, who process it only to run the service.
14. Intellectual Property in the Service
Numbat Web owns Pipe Posts — its software, design, brand and documentation — and these Terms grant you a right to use it during your subscription, nothing more. You must not copy, reverse engineer, resell or create a competing service from it.
Pipe Posts may be configured with your accent colour and your business name, but it remains a Numbat Web product and is presented as one. These Terms do not grant any right to present Pipe Posts as your own product or to remove its branding.
15. Warranties
We warrant that the service will be provided with reasonable care and skill. Otherwise, and to the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)), including consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded by agreement. Where liability for breach of such a guarantee can be limited, our liability is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Numbat Web's total liability for all claims arising from your use of Pipe Posts is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim arose, or A$100, whichever is greater.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special loss, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of reach or engagement, reputational harm, or the consequences of a platform suspending or restricting your account.
We are not liable for content published exactly as you instructed, or for a post that failed, was delayed, or was rejected by a platform for reasons within that platform's control.
17. Suspension and Termination
Either party may terminate the subscription as set out in section 6. We may suspend or terminate immediately where you materially breach these Terms, where section 10 is breached, or where a payment remains unpaid after notice. Suspending a business means pausing it: its people can sign in to a notice, nothing is published, and nothing is deleted while it is paused. When we pause or resume a business, we email its owners.
On termination, your right to use the service ends, fees owed for the period up to termination remain payable, and your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections 7, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 19 survive termination.
18. Changes to the Service and These Terms
We may improve, change or withdraw parts of the service. Where a change materially reduces what the service does, we will give account holders at least 30 days notice, and you may cancel without penalty before it takes effect.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always at pipe-posts.com/terms, and the effective date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed. Material changes are notified to account holders directly; continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia. Before starting proceedings, both parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute in writing.
20. Contact
For anything to do with these Terms, your subscription, or the service, contact Numbat Web at [email protected].
